Testosterone Undecanoate

Testosterone Undecanoate is a truly unique steroid product. First of all, it's one of the newer items to be developed as many products have been discontinued years ago and little effort has gone into new research for anabolic steroids. Secondly, testosterone undecanoate is an orally active testosterone oil that bypasses the liver and is absorbed as fat through the lymphatic system. These properties initially make testosterone undecanoate look really appealing as a testosterone source for a steroid cycle. In practice though, the anecdotal evidence suggests that high, frequent doses still do not match the power of testosterone injections, and lower doses do not seem to produce significant gains. Testosterone Undecanoate is transformed to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body and therefor aromatizes very minimally if at all. Subsequently, estrogen related side effects rarely occur making testosternone undecanoate a good choice for those especially prone to water retention, fat gain and gynecomastia while on cycle. Coupled with the fact that testosterone undecanoate is mild on the liver, many look toward this compound as a mostly side-effect free steroid option.

Unfortunately, testosterone undecanoate is far from the perfect compound. The very short half-life of this product means that frequent ingestion is necessary and that even at high doses there may not be enough of an increase in testosterone levels to produce much of a result. Therefore, a dose of 240mg-280 mg/day should be considered the minimum to elicit results. Those looking for a mild oral to stack with other mild compounds such as oxandrolone may be interested in testosterone undecanoate as an adjunct.
